I would like to add that I believe that only long practice, continual monitoring of ones results, and making adjustments as needed will you see what is needed to get the best results! Experiments are useful to give you a possible direction to go, but they are not the end all and be all! You need constant practice and watchfulness to find the best results!!

Thanked: 1So I took a look at the note on the 15 times of the razor. I wish it were written more clearly. I keep looking at it and reading "the estimated weight is stropping is 15....." which makes no sense.
Don't get me wrong, I think Alan is right on about it meaning 15 passes. I'm just having a little fun trying to decipher what was actually written. I get fascinated by this type of stuff.
There's also a cut off note (#2) about "To remove an overhoned....". Wonder what his teacher was telling him there
