    Default Practice strop

I bought a tm honey brown 3 inch wide linen leather strop and bought the five dollar practice strop to go with it. How can a strop be this cheap? The practice one I mean. I figured for 5 bucks I could not lose even If I don't really need it for long.

If I remember right, he says those strops have some "imperfections" which makes it unsaleable. Now, Tony's a perfectionist so what he calls imperfections, most of us would never see.

I have had my TM strops for a couple of months now and have not taken my good strop out of the bag yet. I still consider my self in the "practice" stage. I still get out of rythem every now and then and nick the strop. Some day I will get the good strop out and try it. I will still probily use the practice strop some.

I have a #1 lattigo, I would be so sad if I nicked that one. I have a Honey brown #2 that I use as a travel strop. Theses are the only ones I use now. Tony dose great work.

    Regards
    Phil
