    Default My new Strop

I just received my new four sided strop from Tony today. What a beauty! Pasted on three sides and a nice red latigo on the forth. The leather smell alone is enough to make me sing despite what it will do for the razor. Tony's workshop must smell incredible! All that leather!
I wonder if he would like to take on an apprentice?

Thanks Tony! Good to see a true craftmans work of art!

I use to work in a boot factory. The wonderful smell of leather greated me each day...till about 5 months after i started. Sadly i became neutral to the smell.

Thanks guys! This last batch on natural was very aromatic and the shop smells great. Brand new Latigo on the other hand smells a little like chemicals until it airs a bit.

It's funny, I never really gave a thought to the smell of leather until I got one of Tony's original latigos. Using my first strop, I just thought that thats how leather smelled, then Tony's strop made me realize it really did just smell like crap.
