    Here in Baltimore that is about all our local paper is even good for, stropping <g>

    you should still strop on plain leather after it for best (smooth) results

    He he he..... I hear you, Tony. Same here in Cleveland. We take the Sunday only paper and for only one reason. Our dog is paper trained! They keep calling, trying to get us to take M-Sat. I explain he only goes through the Sunday paper in a week.... but they don't seem to get it. Oh well..... Probably have enough left over to try stropping as well.

    It actually worked pretty well for me but you might have to do a couple hundred laps (this is after you've finished off on the highest grit stone/paste you have.
