I still have a pretty good size chunk of .5 CrOx crayon that I picked up from a vendor who was supplied it from Mastro Livi and then I have a small bottle of water bases .25 diamond from Martin at Rasurpur and I’m not sure who his source is but they both do have there place, I don’t use them much anymore but sometimes when I am trying to squeak out that last bit of keenness I will do 20 laps on the .5 and 6-8 on the .25 and then a regular stropping

Livi poured the coals to the CroOx. Interesting.

Thanked: 556I have a paddle strop with hard felt on one side and balsa on the other. The hard felt has .25 diamond spray and the balsa has CrOx. THe vendor I got it from suggested using the diamond spray first followed by the CrOx. That seems to give me a keen, but comfortable edge more than the other way around.
