    Default Cheap Ebay Diamond Paste

This deal looks too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with these no-name pastes? The fellow selling them has excellent feedback, so in general, his products must not be too shabby.

Worth a try, I love mine from Classicshaving but the only two I use are the .5micron and .25micron
The others I am not too sure that they would work with razors.
Let us know how they work!

I don't know the specifics of the brand your looking at but just be mindful the thing with diamond pastes are the sorting of the diamonds. If you looking at say .50 and there some coarser stones thrown in it will compromise the cutting action and result. That's why you pay more for a name brand. If you don't care about the proper sorting then buy the cheapest you can get.

Yeah - I've come to the conclusion that my time is too valuable to waste it with cheap compound.

Of course there are natural and synthetic, mono and polycrystalline as well as the size and uniformity to worry about. Who knows what you're getting with unbranded cheap stuff.

Actually if you had synthetic diamonds you would probably be better off as the synthetic should be perfect with no flaws or inclusions as the naturals would have though that should really not affect its performance. Whether they are octahedrons or cubs shouldn't matter either its the size that matters and uniformity of the size.
