I would like to see a photo if you could please, and describe how you use it. Do you just select the top or bottom of the strop?

Dewey,
Clever idea. one really does not need the full 18-24" of strop for pastes, especially with such a wide surface area. Splitting them up top/bottom would be very versatile.

I did the same initially, on the free beginner strop that was included.
Part red area and green area.
