    Give that man a cigar!

The strops are amazing, the paddle is super-high quality work...and they came with instructions and strop dressing, which I forgot. Tony is definitely a class act!!!!

I am going to strop a few more and then post results/opinions.

Default Take Credit Where Credit is Due.

    Is Tony from www.thewellshavedgentleman.com?

I strongly suggest the author of The Well Shaved Gentleman include his name. You see, I received MY long white box today. It came with a nicely written, and detailed set of instructions on stropping and shaving. Someone obviously took a good deal of effort to create the instruction manual. The only thing missing is the authors name. Please take credit where credit is due.

Thanks Jay.....I am "The Well Shaved Gentleman".......well, mostly me, my wife does the administrative stuff, mails the International boxes and reminds me to stop and eat once in a while. I make all the strops by hand and occasionally a friend of ours, Kim Suter, helps with assembly. Chris Ellison hones my razors.

The manual is fairly basic but gets revised each time we head to the printer.

    Default Good Job Tony

The manual is great. I like basic; it's did not confuse me. The print out is also great. Why increase costs with a more expensive book or the like?

I do hope you will add a credit's section. Perhaps your post above would be a perfect credits section.

None the less, I tip my hat to you.

Thanks again, I will be doing a 'credits" section on my main website soon under the "About Us" page. As this has developed a bit beyond just me all the time I was going to do a little, about us and about your strop section explaining just what craftsman made means and who works on what, etc..... I was actually surprised to find quite a few people figured I just have this stuff made for me from Europe or the like <g>.
It might be nice to add that to the instructions too the next time I print copies.

    Take care,
    Tony

Gee, that's an 8 year old thread. Better make sure the guy is still in business.
