Thanked: 4Mate... real interested
AKC (Keith Spencer) is usually a supplier of knife making supplies... I didnt know they handled strops and the like. Mr Spencer can be a little prickly to deal with on the phone... mail order is good
Mate... is the quote in your sig correct? I always thought it was "keep your pecker hard and your powder dry"... maybe thats why my horse looks at me the way it does

I just had a quick look myself, and yes he also has a few Geisen and Forsthoff's razors, as well as some starter kits with a small how to shave cut throat style booklet with some type of shavette.
Also he has Lynn's DVD for sale, but check out the price, it's cheaper buying it direct from Lynn.
And also a couple of strops, this one pictured being a Prima Rindleder Germany - Best Cowhide Leather............................
#183 Deluxe - leather honing strop with traditional canvas back 440mm x 50mm. Overall length 450mm Metal swivel, traditional leather 'bell' handle.

Greg,
it is correct as it is a quote of mine own invention, I was once a stockman, now I team rope for gentle relaxation.!!
I did speak to Kieth an he is sending me a catlalogue, I guess it will have prices. Seems there are a few sources of shaving gear here in the west that I am starting to hear about. As I find them I will mention them in further posts. I guess there are probably suppliers in all states of Australia. I am currently using an antique strop, all of my gear has come from antique shops so far, except for some of my sharpening stones, care of my late father.
I was loned the knife magazine that Kieth produces here in the west care of a mate here at work, who is a fellow black powder shooter and kife enthusiast.
Cheers
Gordon
