Thread: White Paste??

Hi,

I bought a strop that has the linnen on the back and bought the white paste because I read somewhere that I should. What do I do with it? Put it on often? Is it abrasive? Thank you.

I'm going to assume that you mean the Dovo white paste...
Yes is is abrasive very high grit but abrasive
Use very little, you will need to rub it in, and let it dry before use.
I don't use this on my daily strop I have a separate hanging strop that has Dovo black on the leather and Dovo white on the linen, I use this after I bring a newly honed razor up to speed this is the last step in my sharpening process.....YMMV I would not reccomend this for daily use JMHO
