    Default Russian Strop?

    I found an older strop in incredible condition today made from Russia. I chatted with someone online about the quality and he said Russian leather strops are some of the best... I also picked up a decent 5/8 Torrey straight for 12 bucks....good buy?

    Yea, but the strop may not be from Russia. Its just a term for the kind of leather or its treatment.
