    Default Stropping 101

    Are there any professors willing to give a brief overview? I simply don't understand the technique, and want to be careful to not develop bad habits. Should've called it stropping for noobs

    I was baffled by this as well, found a lot of help on it in lynns dvd. The most important thing is not to use a lot of pressure and to make sure you turn around by rolling on the spine rather than the blade. I am so afraid of turning on the blade I make sure and lift the razor off the strop before turning.
