    Default Kanayama

Anyone tried out a cordovan-leather strop by Kanayama in Tokyo?

I've been deliberating with myself as to which new strop I should go for, Either one of TMs or this one. But I have not been able to scrounge up any information on the forums by search on this one.

I saw the strap advertised here http://www.rasurpur.de/english/shop/shop.html Hmm, I guess I can't direct link to it, but its under strops.

I'm leaning towards miller due to him having a D ring option and partly due to the way he actively helps the community prosper (I'm assuming that the leather is close in quality).

Edit, removed redundancy. Well the guy from the German site was very fast and helpful with the questions I had through email - guess I'll find out for myself what its like

Did you ever get it and how do you like it?

I bought one and I have to say I was very disappointed with what I got for the money. I would go with a TM strop for real value for money.

No doubt about TM giving you the best bang for the buck but I have one of those Cordovan Strops and the leather is as smooth as butter and an absolute pleasure to use. Talk about luxury. Does it work any better than Tony's? No.
