    Default Accident ....can be fixed?

Accidentaly while i was pasting the linen side of my new tm red latigo with some chromium, some of if (powder form) somehow ended up in the leather side.
Can i i rub it out with a wet towel and then apply some oil in there... or this is it?
i would really apreciate some advice being my intention to save the leather for regular stropping...
    thank you

Since it is powder form I would imagine a damp towel would do the trick!
