Default adding linen to my strop

So I have some linen coming in the mail for my strop.

I want to do something similar to what I have, using the three screw posts. Anyone have ideas on how to keep the cotton from unraveling when I have three holes in it? If it was polyester, I'd just ge a lighter and melt any fraying; unfortunately I don't have that option

You can use Goop or contact cement. Where did you find the linen strips?

I'm not positive it will work (its in the mail), but I got some of #1SN from here. It might be too much, if I have any extra and it works well, I'll post some.

I take it you didn't do the minimum order of $250.00?

You could either glue the end or sew around the holes or double the linen over making double holes, or use those brass things with holes in them that you bash together.

Haha. I needed some webbing for a school project, I'm testing tensile strength of different materials, so they said they'd send me a sample to use for my project. I should have enough left over though for a strop

But, keep that on the DL
