    Default Handles on strops?

I have a couple of that I use. They do not have any type of handle on them. You just hold on to the bottom of the leather or linen to use. After looking at Tony's strops I was wondering what everyone prefered no handle, D rings or leather handles?

I'm actually patiently waiting for Tony to make another batch without handles or D-rings. Tony's starter strop with a linen and no handles and no rivets would be about perfect.

I favour less ornamentation on my strops but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Its easier when you have a handle of some kind. I prefer the D ring but I wouldn't pass on any quality strop because it did not have a handle.

    Robert,
We actually have a bunch of our Originals in the works again. These are the traditional style, 2 1/2" x 24" with a straight cut bottom, cotton/canvas (we have a new fine style for these now) and a top like used on out Artisans.

Probably be about a week more as I have a few things on the bench now......and of course, it's tax time
