    Default Dorko Strop

I was at the local Personal Edge store today and saw that they have a new Dorko strop for $69. I have an old strop but since it was folded and held together with elastic bands for years I have not been able to straighten it and I think that it is dulling my ravor when I strop it. How good is the Dorko strop? Are there any forum members who use one? My only concern is that it seems kind of small compared to my old strop.

Well first off its not new. Maybe New Old Stock since Dorko stopped making straights quite a few years ago I don't see why they would continue making strops. Dorko makes quality goods so no problems there. Most standard strops are pretty close in length. maybe a padded handle or D Ring type handle or no handle would make it seem longer but hanging strops are pretty close in size no matter the maker. Every now and then you will see one thats extra long or extra thick but those are exceptions.
