    Default Who sells diamondpaste?

And can/will ship it outside USA?

I have bought some from ebay, but everyone says that I should avoid it as long as it isn't Amplex paste.

so, then I wonder, who sells this?, I see that classicshaving sells it, but it is kinda pricy for the small packs, and there are no other packagesizes available, and not the full range of pastes.

I know for normal use that sizes should suffice, but I want to experiment a little, and guess I need a little more, and since I have to pay premium for shipping anyway....

I have bought lots of pastes/chromium etc from Handamerican now, so it's only the diamond pastes that I'm looking for now.

    Do anyone have ideas?

i use tedpella diamond paste on my pasted paddle. works fine. perhaps there is slightly less diamonds in it thus the cheaper cost. nonetheless, it does the trick just fine.

    0.5um - 895-6 Diamond Polishing Compound, 0.5µm size, 5g, L/grey each
    9.50

    1.0um - 895-7 Diamond Polishing Compound, 1µm size, 5g, L/grey each
    9.50

    0.25um - 895-5 Diamond Polishing Compound, 0.25µm size, 5g, L/grey each
    9.50

you won't need more than 5g, will last you a very long time. you use slightly more for the 1st application to the leather then you need during re-applying later on.

    Asbjorn,
The 5gr syringes that Amplex makes are the smallest size they produce. Mine are all re-packaged from bulk in order to have smaller amounts. As for price Classic is actually discountin these as the 5gr syringes ave a suggested retail of $24.95.

The good news is that the syringes do not contain any air pockets so travel via air quite well where as mine......a small amount of paste in a larger snap cap container burst during air transit about 50% of the time, hence us only shipping them via ground now (live and learn).

I have bought the lot from this guy, but the B&B dudes says no-no, it has to be Amplex.
    But are these good enough?

yes, but what I was looking for was maybe 10gr, but after looking at some of the tuturials for pasting here now, I see I maybe use to much. (Have tried some of the polish paste on balsa, and are using maybe to much)
I'll have to check with Classic how they calculate shippingcost, some are taking $30 or so whatever they send. (but that is still cheap considering the distance though)

oi.. my paddles.. and strop.. and.. hm.. But the container for strop-paste did not have any problems? (The one I got before)

Maybe this is some of the problem with camellia oil also?, woodcraft sells camellia oil, but it is marked no-air mail.

What if I have about 10 pieces of 8x3 leather, 4-5 pieces of balsa paddles, and paddle incoming from TM?
Yes, I know it is too much, but I'm not going to do only my razors. I have some knifes I also want to get into shape.
But I guess I can live with 5g, if shipping is not outrageous, I can order more, if some will ship to Norway.

Some say that ordering from Ted Pella is tricky? (They also have some GEM blades I need..)
