    Default dovo strop

    question, dovo strop one side is soft the other is rough and shiny, do I use both sides or just one, and which one?

    You probably refer to the 3" wide strop.
    Use only the soft side.

    I am sure, just in the video strops looked different than mine and the soft side gave an impression of "the inside" i.e. as an inside of a leather belt. So I assumed the red was the correct side.
    Also to you knowlegable people my strop when stretched kind of makes a propeller shape, I can't get it to be flat when stroping, any thoughts on that?
    I use Dovo 3" and Illinois 827. Thanks again to all who answered

    Photos? Have someone take a pic with you stretching the strop out. Especially interested in seeing the #827.

    Initial thoughts are grip and strop conditioning.
