question, dovo strop one side is soft the other is rough and shiny, do I use both sides or just one, and which one?

Use only the soft side.

Thanked: 0I am sure, just in the video strops looked different than mine and the soft side gave an impression of "the inside" i.e. as an inside of a leather belt. So I assumed the red was the correct side.
Also to you knowlegable people my strop when stretched kind of makes a propeller shape, I can't get it to be flat when stroping, any thoughts on that?
I use Dovo 3" and Illinois 827. Thanks again to all who answered

Yea, that sounds bad. Typically grab from under the strop withthe index finger under strop (thumb flat, pointed toward your right and on the top) and roll the strop upwards and back in your direction (over your left shoulder) to achieve the best flatness.
