Thread: Question on stroping.

I read somewhere that it is a good practice to strop a razor after shaving but i have also read that stroping after a shave is not good for the fine edge of the razor. Can someone offer me some advice?

Stropping after shaving is fine. Some do it and some don't but it will not harm the edge. Most do it to ensure the edge is dry. Whether you elect to do just before or before and after you will not see any difference in edge condition as long as you make sure your edge is dry before putting the razor away if you don't do the after stropping.
