Thread: Which to go with?

I am looking at the following wondering which would be best-

Small nick at bottom
razor strop vintage 4 sided wm.c.stephan 700A - eBay (item 220244560179 end time Jun-16-08 15:37:17 PDT)

No linen, small nick on one strop
2 ANTIQUE HORSE HIDE LEATHER BARBER RAZOR STROP STRAP - eBay (item 220244226445 end time Jun-16-08 18:00:00 PDT)

No nicks or cracks
VINTAGE GENUINE RUSSIAN PROCESS WAGNER STROP/TODCO - eBay (item 150258987938 end time Jun-20-08 16:52:05 PDT)

No nicks cracks or linen
VINTAGE GENUINE SHELL 3355 LAKESIDE RAZOR STROP STRAP - eBay (item 270244844053 end time Jun-15-08 15:54:08 PDT)

The first one seemed best to me the others had more worn leather or no linen. I would ask seller for more pictures and plenty of questions. If the linen on the first one is okay, I wouldnt worry about the nick on the end you wont strop that far. It looks to me from what I can see that the leather on #1 just needs a good cleaning with saddle soap and then conditioned with neatsfoot oil.
