    Default Another question from an annoying newb.

    Someone's probably mentiuoned this to me before, but what is the function of the canvas side of a strop?

    Well I use it for corporal punishment but otherwise I think it helps in the stropping process but there are many opinions on the subject.

    There is where I went wrong in raising my kids... did not use the canvas side of the strop enough.
