I suspect the answer will be, it depends. But I'll ask it anyway. How often do you want to refresh the edge with a strop with diamond paste (0.25 micron). Right now I am using the razor daily. Don't know how to classify my beard relative to some else's beard. If I was forced to do so I would say it is more on the side of tough. Is the answer closer to one week, or closer to 4-5 weeks ? I want to do this as right as I can. I will also buy another strop to use 0.5 micron dimaond paste. Then get a polishing stone like a coticule or chinese. I figure that I will have to work my way backwards in honing as time goes by. Thanks for any suggestions...
