    Default CrO Ideal Mixture Ratio?

I was just curious for those of us that use CrO for pasted strops and have it in the powdered form, what is your ideal mixture ratio? Do you pay much attention at all to that when mixing some to apply to a strop?

Looking to see what you guys use before I mix some up to put into a small atomizer for future use. I have a tub of the CrO from HandAmerican that I got through a vendor and plan on mixing it with some neat's foot oil.

josh earl has a how to on this here, i would think that it would plug up your atomizer, i think that the ratio is not as important as the amount you use, less is way better with this stuff

Go to Home Depot's paint department, and see if they sell you a small bottle of the green pigment, most likely is made with Cr2O3, and give it a try.

I have never found the need to mix Cr02 powder with anything. Just a pinch on the strop then rub in all over with the palm of the hand till smooth. you should end up with a very light coat this way and even too. Mixing with oils etc never gets an even light coverage for my taste.
