    Default loom strop/custom razor

I recently sold all of my straight gear but am thinking maybe I should get back into it. There is a maestro livi loom strop for sale that I want but am not sure how you use a loom strop. Don't you need to adjust it at times? That strop comes with a linen pasted with chromium and that should keep me going for a while. I am also contemplating buying one of the Joe Chandler razors on straight designs for 375 but would like a custom that is cheaper. Does anyone have any suggestions?

every now and then a custom shows up here by one of our talented bladesmiths such as Josh Earl, His razors i feel are 2nd to none in quality and craftmanship, Sadly some of the Smiths here are under contract now and i dont think they freelance anymore, But their work is quality as well, Knowing what i do now i wished i had bought a few customs in the beginning when i started out. I highly reccomend anything Don sells at the store, Those guys know quality in shaving materials, look around the store, everything i see is of top quality. as far as the loom strop it is a good one for sure but you could get away with a simpler design such as the ones offered by tony miller a member here he has 3 inch wide ones that you can paste on 1 side and use the other side for stropping but the livi is really nice i think you would adjust it for the differences in blade thickness and type to get full contact to the bevel for using it with chromium oxide or a paste
