Greetings all.

I have decided to make my own strop. Why you ask? Well for one, I do a bit of leatherworking as a hobby and thought it would be a fun project. And two to maybe save a couple of bucks (maybe).

Anyway, I am having a heck of a time finding a metal keeper/dee that has a loop on the end for hanging the strop on to a hook.

Does anyone know where I could get a keeper/dee with a swivel loop or hook on the end?

I suppose a plain "dee" would work, but I am concerned the strop would hang at some goofy looking angle. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding making your own strop? My idea was to make two leather sides, one pasted, the other plain.
