    I hang mine in the back of the shower and let it soak in the steam from when I shower. Now that it's getting colder, the house heat is on so the strop will be dry by the next time I shower. Depending on the level of the crease, I leave the strop in there for a week or so, repeating the process of hot steam and house heat. It works very well. I then the condition the strop and my strop is ready for use.

    I'm getting strop #3 and that's what I'm going to do.

    those pictures look similar to mine.. i wouldn't have called it a crease.. nor a wrinkle, and maybe not a fold... "bend" sounds better to me, but regardless mine is in similar shape as those photos.. maybe not quite so extreme..

    i can certainly use it as it is.. i almost wonder if it isn't actually helpfull in stropping, but one does have to be aware of it when stropping, and all in all, i'd sooner be rid of it..

    These strops were recently listed on eBay by a friend.
