One question tough.Evan if the strop is wide enough not to, do you guys still use a X-pattern?
If so, why?
And one question for Tony: If I where to buy your 4-sided strop. Have I understood correctly, that you cannot include pastes in shipping? Could I get it paste ready?

Some say you should, I have done both and it seems that the draw is better if I do.

Another satisfied customer, I bought a starter from tony uncut without handles and put my set of D rings on it I have to say it is the nicest strop i have ever used to date and i have several, it beats out my dovo 3 inch by a mile in finish very well finished leather truly a work of art when you think of the time that went into finishing the leather

Anything already ordered will still be all burgundy trim as the last one sold on Tuesday. Starting Monday I will do a run of 15 with black handles and then 15-25 more the next week with black caps and handles. I'll have photos of both on the website Monday. I'll switch back to burgundy trim again, hopefully before Christmas.

I have my latigo strop with the black handles and caps, and think that it's the best look going! It's beautiful, and the costrast really makes the burgundy stropping surface pop!

Thanked: 0I’m a newbie and my first strop is the 3" Heirloom Artisan Red Latigo Strop w/ Handles. I don’t know much about strops but I do recognize quality craftsmanship when I see it. When I received it, I realized what quality work for the price.
I put a nice nick in it on my third razor strop. I used a pumice stone and got it to where I can use it again. I plan to order a new one after I get to where I do not screw up using this one.
Tony, is there any chance that you would sell just the latigo replacement that fits the hardware on my current strop?

Not a problem. I use removable hardware just for this reason. if one were to damage leather or linen I can sell just the replacement piece and you can switch them yourself easily at home. No need to buy a complete new strop.
Just e-mail me via my storefront for details.
