    Default Newbie question :-)

    Hello, again!

I have a basic leather strop from DOVO. One side its smooth, the other is the tipical leather backside, not so smooth. The question is: can I use the backside of the strop? If yes, in wich situation should I use it?

    Thank you.

I wouldn't use the rough side. Use the smooth side for stropping prior to shaving (50-60 laps)...

Well, I have used a bit of sandpaper to flatten the rough side, then applied Dovo Green paste. Works well.
