    not me. my hones are light - my issue is the honing arm (but the issue I think really is trauma from shovieling).

    Last year I got a pretty serious case of tennis elbow and golf elbow in my right elbow, work related, and I found that honing in particular puts a strain on the elbow and the muscles in the lower arm which causes the inflammation to raise again. Stropping on a "normal" level, like 20 on linen and 50 on leather before each shave doesn't cause any problems. If the pain continues you should lay off the stropping for a while, as this can evolve into a chronic state, but if you listen to your body and quit if/when it hurts, your arm should heal back up in a few weeks.
