Stropping, Shaving, Sex. The results & practice are great but it's always a bit sad that it has to end.

It all started when I learned to shave with a straight razor and couldn't grow facial hair fast enough!!!

Yes, Yes ! And I felt so alone thinking no one else had these feelings.

I hate it. I wish I could pay someone to do it for me.

For all those who've said they wish they could get their beards to grow faster, I have good news. I once read a scientific study that concluded that beard hairs do indeed grow faster when one is sexually excited. The rise in testosterone gives rise to other bodilly features, such as whiskers. The solution then is simple. Just refrain from sex and you will be in a constant state of faster growth! Of course, your wife, girl friend or significant other may be a bit frustrated. Hopefully, she'll understand.

Legally speaking, you are only sick if she doesn't know she is your girlfriend.

I too find stropping quite relaxing. I found a way to attach my strop to the desk in my bedroom, and I can strop in complete comfort while sitting down.

What better way to take your mind off things and relax at the end of the day than spending 5 minutes stropping in a quiet room? You are prepping for sleep and the next day's shave at the same time.

I made the mistake of testing my razor on the back of my hand where I rest my chin when I'm daydreaming at my desk. No big problem in itself, except for when the hair starts to grow back and it's really prickly. Guess I will just have to test on that bit of my hand again.
