Thanked: 5Need to see close up stropped edge pics
Hi Gents
Does anyone have any really close up pics of the edge of a balde once its been stropped, rolled, not stropped etc. I have used a magnifying glass but obviously its not that good. I would love to see what is actually happening and what I am trying to achieve whilst stropping.
Hope you can help.
Regards
London

I remember reading a post that referred to a really old article on the effects of stropping. There are even some close up pics of an edge pre- and post-stropping.
Here it is: WONDER PHOTOS REVEAL UNSUSPECTED FACTS ABOUT Razor Blades and Shaving
You have to go to page 2 or 3 to see the interesting photos....

Go to this page and click on "bevels" and then on "edges". There are other resources but I don't know where to find them offhand.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
