Balsa STrop done by person doesn't know anything abot woods
This is my new Balsa strop and i have made by help of non2sharp.i thank him buying balsa for me and bringing to my house.
I really was thinking balsa some kinda leather .i know most of you will laugh heheheh but this is just learning don't know when will end.funny handles hehehe never done woodwork in my entire life.
Oil was a lot and i ended up putting bunch of chr02

Thanked: 77Wow. Nice but I think you have about 100 times too much CrOx on there . No problems but I think it's going to be messy for the first couple of years. You're probably going to look like the Jolly Green Giant

I'd say take some paper towels and kleenex and try to take a lot of the excess off there

Looks good to me, but that much chromium oxide buttered on that strop would wreck an edge... and turn your face green...and your hands...and the table you set the strop on...and the sink...and the...
