Thanked: 46strop for a beginner
ok guys,
im finally at the point where i need to start looking for a strop. well now my question is first off for a beginner what is a good all around size for a good beginner strop. i was looking at 3 inchs. i was thinking that there should be alot less the worry about as i will not have to worry so much about the x pattern. so if im wrong on this please let me know as this is a total new experiance and i dont feel like shelling out alot of money for something i dont need. thanks again

Tony Miller sells a practice strop which is pretty cheap. This might be your best bet at first and then get something better later or buy the two and put the better one away until you confident you won't cut it.
