Thanked: 3Repair questions
Hello again out there in internets land. So I have a newer strop and like the newb that I am I have managed to put a few small incisions in it. How would I go about repairing this to make sure that I take good care of it? The reason that I have had time with this is because my strop is bowed. The middle of the stop (lengthwise) is bowed downwards so my razors are not being stroped throughout the entire razor evenly. any ideas how to fix this? The only way that I can thing of this is to push harder on the spine and I am sure that would end up being a bad idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

Super glue the cuts making sure the little flap of skin is even with the surrounding skin, sand with fine paper if needed. As for the bowing it could be several things: If pinching the end of the strop (non-handled) be careful not to over do it and create a bow; also you do not have to get the strop super taut; roll the strop out with a glass bottle.
