Thread: Dubl Duk Strop

I have come across a Dubl Duk Strop at an antique shop. They want 30.00 for it. It doesn't have any gouges or serious nicks on it, that I could see. Is it worth it? It does not have a canvas strop on it, just the leather.

That's a lot of money for a vintage strop. DD made many type of strops and many models (actually they didn't make them someone else did) so it depends which one you are looking at and the condition. If its a extra heavy horsehide in great condition then its probably worth it but if its a very thin cow I would pass for that price.
