I'd only say that if this stropping obsession continues, you might want to try really hard to spend most of your time on the leather. We know there's no such thing as too much good stropping there.

If you really want to be safe, next time you strop the day or so before you shave just put a little oil on the blade and it should be fine for you to shave with when the time comes. Just make sure to wipe the oil off before you shave.
