    Default CONGRATULATIONS

    You the Man.
My father didn't have birth day on his password or in birth certificate .In any day of the year he could say today is my birthday and we all 6 children must get together make a birth day party.
get ready before it comes on.

I've got the felt strop and the spray and the toughest stainless or Damascus edge will end up as sharp as they can get from that combination. Enjoy your new stuff.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

    Question

Does steam from a hot shower effect these strops?

    Thumbs up Update

This strop is fantastic in every way possible. It has been my daily strop since it arrived. While I promised to keep the strop pristine, I came across something new. Yellowstone compound.

This is a very interesting abrasive. In order to reap its benefits, it must be applied to a pristine surface. Any oil will render it to a dark sticky paste. Very little can be found about its micron size. Rumor has it to be .3 microns. Any one with a scope should love to see a comparison against a grain of cro2.

The person who discovered this is Herb Dunkle. I have talked to a number of people that have mentioned his name in various posts turned up by Google. He can no longer be found! His phones go unanswered. The telephone number on the packaging is no longer answered. Strange. There is next to nothing available on this product. If anyone has any technical info on it would you please post?

I love this product. The poly web that came with the strop is a perfect pristine media for this compound. Five to Ten swipes and strop the leather as usual for a really great shave. I can't speak for other blades, but my Friodurs love it.

Of course this means a trip to the Strop Shop!

Its time for some clean linen!

    Default Getting that linen...

Lots of questions out there about the best strop. Well this is it. New users can not go wrong with this as their first choice.

Why? Above quality I would go for versatility, and service! And, they are modular!

Lynn, if we can get hardware as an option along with the replacement strops being offered (especially with D rings).... I have a guy contracted for your local shrine \

Hope the hip is on the mend!
