    Default Neatsfoot Prime Oil

    I went to Tandy today bought some Neatsfoot oil (I was shocked we had one in AK). The salesman said he had Neatsfoot Prime Oil and regular Neatsfoot Oil. I asked him what the difference was and he said he didn't know. He always sold the Prime and used the Prime. I bought the original and applied it to my herold - solingen strop tonight. Can anyone tell me the difference?

    'Prime" is blended with other oils usually mineral oil or other petroleum based oils.
    I'd prefer the regular.

    Yep, what onimaru said. Look for 100% pure oil on the label.
