Home Made Tri-Strop
Hey Guys,
I got some latigo from a prof of mine at school and so I put this thing together. It's my home made Tri-strop haha.
Sorry for the crappy pics, all I had with me is my cell phone. As you can see I used a welded D-ring, then cut a piece of scrap leather (black leather) into an "H shape" then drilled holes in it for the rivets. I used copper rivets that worked out pretty good. just clipped them off, ground them down then peened them. I found some canvas at the local fabric store for <$1 hehe and I put that in between.
anyhow you can take a look to see what I have created
Enjoy!

Looks like that should work just fine. Satisfying making your own & easy on the pocket.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 124That does look really nice, but how long is it? If its too long it'll sag too much.

That looks pretty good! It's got a certain functional look about it, but i'd be pleased!
Keep meaning to make a Roo strop myself.
