Thanked: 398Recommendation for a new strop...
Hey guys,
I've been thinking about getting a new strop. Right now I have an old TM red Latigo strop. I got it second hand and it's a bit beat up. I'm going to be graduating soon and my GF asked me what I wanted for my graduation. What would you recommend me?

Since you already have a latigo I would take a look at the SRD strops. I have a couple of their strops and they are awesome. They just added some new models to their Premium line. I have a Premium I strop and has taken over as the main strop in my rotation. The Premium II and III look very promising as well. Have fun.

Thanked: 1Well shaved gentleman
I just bought a strop from the Well Shaved Gentleman (Coming Soon...) that I like a lot. It's 3 inches wide so you don't have to master the x stroke, and the quality appears to be first rate.

Thanked: 398It's fine but there some anoying cuts near the handles that bother me. It was purchased second hand so the previous owner made some cuts on it. It's the only strop I've ever used as well so I wouldn't mind trying something new too.

I have the Premium I and the Red Latigo personally I prefer the Premium for the feel of the draw but both are quality strops, as are TM's....
