Will I get more draw

I just received a TM 2" Latigo. As I rub the strop and use it on my razor will it develop more draw. It seems fairly smooth now and if the horse is smoother i would feel out of control...at least right now til my skills increase...

I have the red latigo and find I get spades of draw. I also have the horse and I get no draw whatsoever. It will sound sharp as I strop but no draw. The same with my Cordovan, no draw there either. I guess its either the leather type of the tanning process. Maybe Tony will chime in with an explanation.

I warm my strop up with the palm of my hand cupped slightly, it does increase the amount of draw I get.

Strop effectiveness is not defined by its draw. Of the two I've owned one had more draw, but both performed admirably.
