    Default Cleaning old strop

What is the best way to clean on old strop? I was thinking of saddle sopaping the leather and once dry, apply strop dressing. Any suggestions?

    Default

Some guys have had good success with Goop, available in most auto parts stores. It has lanolin in it as a conditioner.

Here's some info from HandAmerican; just scroll about halfway down.

    Default Use GOOP

The GOOP works wonders, and helps to condition the leather at the same time!
