    Default I Need Advice

I just saw this paddle strop on ebay. Can anyone tell me if they think this would be a good paddle strop to use with chromium oxide paste? Thanks

Looks like it might work, it looks though as if the rough side of the leather is out. I myself would prefer smooth side out for applying pastes.

Here is an old thread on it. Seems it is more for woodworking tools.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanks everybody. I think I will stick with trying to make my own paddle strop. It will be more fun anyway.
