    how many laps do you usually do on the linen seraphim

    and after a while will i still be able to refresh my edge with just a high grit stone like a 12k or barber hone or will i need to go to low grit stones to reset the bevel from using this paste.

    If you're really worried about this, you can glue a piece of linen or denim to the back of a paddle strop with some barge cement, and use the dovo paste on that. This way the bevel will be pretty guaranteed to stay straight. I've become a big fan of the linen-backed paddle over the last 6 months or so.
