Well, erictski -- if you twisted me arm enough I
could try on my Premium I, but it actually works
pretty well without the white paste.

Well, the leather is pretty cool -- it's absolutely flat
and smooth and has a moderate amount of draw. I
think it does a pretty good job on razors. The nylon
side seems to work pretty well in the sense that the
razor is prepared properly for the shave, but I'm not
yet sure how well it preserves the edge over time.
It's a very nice strop, all in all. My favourites so far
are the SRD Premium, TM Horsehide/Linen, and the
Dovo Best Russian.

Ok erictski, I applied the Dovo White Paste to my
SRD Premium, so I'll report back once it has dried
and I've given it a few tries. If I don't like it then
it is a great excuse to buy another 1-2 Premiums,
and probably a couple new Tony Miller's to make
it even

So, the paste has imparted a plasticky feel to the
strop, and I wasn't thrilled about the feel of the
webbing to begin with. It also did not apply very
evenly, and would `soak' into the strop immediately.
I wouldn't recommend using the white paste with
the SRD webbing, but of course others are free to
experiment
