Thanked: 137Fromm strops
Does anyone know anything about these strops? Found a few on various sites and I'm looking at getting one as my starter strop. That said though, I'd hate to be getting the strop equivalent to a Zeepk razor (I've ruled out buying a Zeepk strop for the same reason) so thought I'd check out people's experiences/opinions before buying one.

Thanked: 259have not used one of the fromm but have one of the b&b and selective and they are not very good. i am ordering one from vintagebladesllc, it is the latigo 3" burgandy, from what i am hearing from members is this strop does not need to be broke in and it is wide so you do not have to use the x stropping just straight back and forth. Jim at vintagebladesllc is very helpful and would be glad to answer any questions you have if you decide to order from him. hope this helps some. good luck

Fromm is the same as Illinois Razor Strop Co. so that would be a decent strop
