    Default my fixer upper

    well at the midmo meet i was lucky enough to receive my first strop from nun2sharp. the one he gave me was a bit bet up so i took some time and fixed it up a bit so that i could get a bit more use out of it.

    kelly gave me the strop i did the work. the hanger was done with some emery paste and a dremel and the cloth was put in a rubbermaid bow and cleaned with gain. took about 2 days then i stuck it between 2 pieces of board and let it dry flat.

    its works great, it sharpens my little genco quite well. and yes i remember, that is the only that if something is given it must also be passed.

    Did you do any scrubbing on the cotton/linen with a soft brush or cloth, or did you just let it soak?
