    Default Yellow Strop Paste Question

I just sanded down my strop a bit to remove some nicks, and wish to dress up the leather side with the yellow paste. Before jumping in, I put a tiny dab on the corner of the leather, and noticed it sinks in and dries up very quickly making a dark brown spot. When I try to spread it around (the way I would a diamond paste with the palm of my hand), it doesn't spread at all; and stays concentrated in the area it was applied.

My question - what's the proper way to apply this yellow paste?

    Thanks.

that is the problem i had when fist used that paste, it will go down fast! Just spread a peasize drop on the palm of your hand (the part below thumb), tap on the strop and start rubing. Do one third at a time, or the whole thing. For whole strop you wil need 3 or 4 drops. It will stain uneaven, but dont worry, the color will even out.
